Since the beginning of the league in 1976 it has been growing and growing. We've seen new clubs forming and older clubs growing with new players every year. We currently have 16 clubs with 27 teams competing across 3 divisions. Here is a little info about some of the clubs in the league...

Llandudno Netball Club all teams

Llandudno

Netball Club

Although the original Llandudno Ladies team was one of the founding clubs of the league, the Llandudno Netball Club as we know it today was established in 2012. With as many as 5 teams in the adult league and 6 teams in the junior league the club is the strongest it's ever been! 

Boasting 4 experienced coaches in Lucy Moran, Sioned and Beth Coleman and Nicola Jasieniecka (Juniors) they are always ready to take on new talent from age 5+.

Training is in John Bright Leisure Centre and varies depending on age range as follows:

U8 & U11 6-7pm and U13 7-8pm Thursdays

U16 6-7pm and Adults 7-8:30pm Wednesdays

Colwyn Netball Club is one of the 3 founding clubs of the league, it was established in 1978 and currently has 5 teams playing in the adult league and many more in the junior leagues. They currently have two highly experienced coaches and are always on the lookout for fresh new talent.

Training is held at Rydal school every Wednesday at 7pm for the juniors and 7:45pm for the Adults.

Craig Y Don netball club

One of the original 3 clubs to begin this league all those years ago Craig Y Don is still going strong. They currently have one coach and one umpire helping to run the club and they one team entered into the adult league and are keen to welcome new members. 

Training is in Aberconwy Leisure Centre every Wednesday from 7-8pm for ages 18+. The first session is always free and it's £3 thereafter.

denbigh netball club

This club has been running since 2005 and has entered teams into the North West Wales and the North East Wales Netball Leagues with one team currently in the North West. With four coaches they have Donna Cooke, Delyth Madoc-Jones, Steffi Fishwick and Holly Williams the club always welcomes new members of abilities and ages 16+

Training is every Wednesday at 7:30-8:30pm in the Denbigh Leisure Centre.

Clinton James Netball Club and logo

Clinton james netball club

Clinton James was formed back in 1996 by the current coach Paula Rafferty.

They currently have one team in the league as their second team Clinton Celts are mostly off at university after successfully reaching Division 1 after just two seasons together.

The age range for this club are anything from school year 9 and above. 

Training is every other Wednesday 6-8pm at Creuddyn High School sports hall.

thundercats netball club

Established back in 2015 this club was put together by 3 girls with a big dream. That dream certainly flourished with two teams in the league and over 30 players past and present. With 3 coaches and umpires and more training this club is certainly growing. 

Training is every Thursday in Canolfan Brailsford in Bangor at 7-8pm. First session is free and after that it's £3.

Holyhead

Holyhead netball was founded in 1988. Throughout the years they have played in different leagues across Gwynedd.

They have been a successful team over the years winning division titles and tournaments.

As a club we have had countless mother and daughter partnerships on court as well as developing players who have gone on to represent their County and Captain their University teams.

Training is every Thursday at Holyhead Leisure Centre at 16-8pm

6-7pm - Back to Netball adults and junior players.

7-8pm - Holyhead Hawks Squad and junior County & Hub players.
